MSA1000 Small Business Kit
We upgraded the firmware on our MSA1000 to 4.48 and now the SanSurfer Software cannot see the MSA. Can still use the ACU for configuration, etc. Drives still connected.
Also, FC Switch included with the kit can see the server connections in the list, but the topology isn't displayed.
Trying to figure out how to get SANsurfer Express to work again.
Should I downgrade the firmware, and if so, where do i get the old firmware version. Can't seem to find it anywhere on HPs site.

Re: MSA1000 Small Business Kit
David:
SANSurfer is an HBA utility. Why are you using it to see the MSA?
Yes, it does show some information about your storage, but it meant more for hba trouble shooting, connectivity issues, checking firmware/driver, etc.
I am not saying you should not use it, I am just wondering what you use it for in regards to the MSA.
Have you updated the HBA drivers?

Re: MSA1000 Small Business Kit
SanSurfer Express is the tool that was provided by HP for managing the MSA1000 Small Business SAN Kit. It is the switch/HBA/MSA tool that provides a unified framework for managing the whole setup. You can also use the ACU for managing the LUNs, but it doesn't give you the whole picture that the SanSurfer Express Utility does

Does you upgrade SANsurfer Express to latest version?
