Re: Replacation between MSA2060and MSA2070
Hello@ibrahim815,
Yes, replication is possible between the HPE MSA 2060 and MSA 2070. You can replicate data from 2060 to 2070.
Hope this helps!
Thank you!

Re: Replacation between MSA2060and MSA2070
Hello@Hoanhtrang,
Replications are compatible between a system with HPE MSA 1060/2060/2062 controllers and a system with HPE MSA 1050/2050/2052 controllers running the latest major firmware version, because both systems support the same replication features.
Please check the link for information about how to create peer connections and replications between two systems.
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=a00128580en_us&docLocale=en_US (SMU Page No. 46)
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=a00105313en_us&docLocale=en_US (CLI Page No. 73&76)
NOTE: The prerequisites must be met before creating a peer connection and replication between two systems.
You need an Advanced Data Services (ADS) license for replication.
Replication whitepaper, which will hopefully help with the typical setup.

Hope this helps!
Thank you!

Re: Replacation between MSA2060and MSA2070
Hello@ibrahim815,
The replication procedure on both HPE MSA 2060 and 2070 is similar.
Please check the link below for the procedure.
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=dp00005403en_us&docLocale=en_US (Page nos. 45 to 53 and 72 to 76).
To use replication between HPE MSA 2060 and 2070, you need an ADS license.
NOTE: The prerequisites must be met before creating a peer connection and replication between two systems.
Hope this helps!

Re: Replacation between MSA2060and MSA2070
Hi @venkat_y
Thanks for support;
Currently, the MSA 2050 system does not have HPE MSA Advanced Data Services, but the Software is already OB.
HPE MSA Advanced Data Services Suite LTU Q0H99A
HPE MSA Advanced Data Services Suite E-LTU Q0H99AAE
Can I order additional HPE MSA Advanced Data Services from the MSA 2060 and add it to the MSA 2050?
HPE MSA Advanced Data Services E-LTU R2C33AAE
Thanks

Re: Replacation between MSA2060and MSA2070
Hello@Hoanhtrang,
Sorry for the delay.
Yes, please obtain the appropriate and supported ADS license for both arrays. Once you have secured the license, establish a peer connection between the two systems. After that, you can create a replication set between those systems.
Thank You!

Re: Replacation between MSA2060and MSA2070
HI @venkat_y
Currently, I cannot purchase an ADS license for MSA 2050 (because part Q0H99A is EOL). I would like to ask if it is possible to use the license ADS for MSA 2060 (part R2C33A) to add to the MSA 2050 series.
Thanks to support

Re: Replacation between MSA2060and MSA2070
Hello@Hoanhtrang,
Both are different arrays, so you need to obtain them separately. The HPE MSA 2060 ADS license does not support the MSA 2050 storage. Please confirm with the seller or the HPE sales team about the availability of the HPE MSA 2050 ADS license.
Thank you!
