Use Proliant Server Disk on MSA with different bracket

Greeting to all!

I have a some spare server HDD, want to ask if I can replace the bracket and plug in MSA to use.

From Server: PN:785411 / HPE PN:796365-003 / HPE Model:EG0900JETKB , 900GB 10K SAS 2.5"

To MSA1040 storage with respective bracket.

Anyone tried?

As per MSA drive search, model: EG0900JETKB is valid for MSA 1040
