Adaptec drivers
I'm trying to use Winternals ERD Commander on a LH 3000. It's giving me a blue screen with a stop 7e error. That typically means the adapter isn't native to XP, which is what ERD Commander is built on.
The adapter is an Adaptec 7880 and I need to find some way to find a set of drivers for this. Either XP or Windows 2003 will work, but I can't even find a reference to this adpater on HP's or Adaptec's web site.

Re: Adaptec drivers
Dennis,
Do you have an adaptec PCI HBA in the server? The LH 3000 has an integrated AIC driver embedded on the i/o board as well. The only NOS support on the LH3000 for MS is either NT 4.0 server or Server 2000.
You can download the correct driver for the integrated AIC 78xx controller for the supported NOS on the LH3000 download page.

Cheers,

Re: Adaptec drivers
Dennis,
you'll not find. 7880 is not a SCSI card, it's just a chip which is used by wide number of manufacturers to make SCSI cards. Drivers are written for cards, not for chips.
If you would have adaptec card (AHA-...) then you would be able to find driver and check if there's a w2003 driver relese available on the adaptec site, but as soon as LH3000 has integrated controller the only source is HP's web-site. But there's not w2003 version.
So the solution for you could be to disable onboard SCSI card and install w2003 qualified addon adaptec card
