Adding IDE HDD to Netserver E50 w/ existing SCSI HDDs
I have read all the previous messages concerning adding an IDE drive to a Netserver E50 which boots from an existing SCSI HDD. I have been able to install the IDE drive and boot to the SCSI drive using a boot floppy to direct the boot correctly. My IDE drive shows up in BIOS Setup but is not accessible from OS (NT 4.0 SP6). It is listed in the SCSI Adapters Control Panel under piixide but is marked as "not unavailible (sic) because driver not loaded". Piixide is also what my CD is listed under which works fine (although it is on the secondary ide connector while the HDD is on primary). I don't know what to do next. How do I associate a driver with the device and how do I know what driver to use?
BTW, if I do not use the boot floppy, the machine will boot from the IDE drive.

Re: Adding IDE HDD to Netserver E50 w/ existing SCSI HDDs
I wonder if you could install LILO on the IDE drive and have it boot the OS on the SCSI?
