Disk array Trouble
I have on old nertserver LM. I'm working on getting the disk array working I think I have the controller and everything working but It doesn't recognize the hard drives. I suppose it's possible that all five of them could be junk, but is there a way to find out for sure if they're any good? Thanks for the help

Re: Disk array Trouble
What RAID controller is installed? HP Mylex or NetRAID?
To see if drives are ok, simply connect drives to the built-in SCSI controller and see if drives banner during POST.
If you are getting configuration errors during POST, must run the BIOS setup program (which is software, not F2 or other hot key). HP Knowledgebase has documents on this.

IS7618: Which Servers Use F2 Setup or EISA Configuration Utility
and the Netserver LM software is here:

If you have more questions, we need more configuration and parts information!
