E60 vs DLT4000

Is it possible to connect DLT4000 to E60 netserver? If yes - what kind of SCSI adapter I need? DLT has SCSI LVD, I have problems with finding such adapter...

Thanks,
Chris

Re: E60 vs DLT4000

hello chris,
does it have a 50pin connector? then any fast scsi adapter should be ok (burst transfer rate of the dlt4000 is 10 MB/sec)
640K ought to be enough for anybody. -Bill Gates 1981

I have some cables which looks like they could work - at least mechanically, but I need some SCSI adapter with LVD out - and I'm having difficulties with finding such a stuff.

Re: E60 vs DLT4000

SCSI Single-Ended will work just fine for a DLT-4000, provided no other devices are attached to the same card.

An Adaptec 2930 or 2940 would work. Or you can go for a 19160, 29160, or 29320.

Re: E60 vs DLT4000

I'll test with 29160 maybe, last tests were quite unsuccesfull, 2940 SCSI adapter hung at startup everytime DLT was connected.
