ECU settings for NIC

I've got a Netserver 5/100 LH, but no clue as to how to configure it via the ECU for a PCI network card. None of the NIC's I've got have any info on what resources they require, so how can I specify them in the ECU to support a card that's supposed to be plug and play? Or am I limited to certain brands/models of cards in this situation?
Thanks for any help.

Re: ECU settings for NIC

Mike,

The LH plus has shared resources. Slots 1-4 are ISA slots. Slot 5->7 share, Slot 6 free (recommended for PCI NIC) SLots 8 shares w/ embedded SCSI (DO NOT USE!!!) Slot 9 -->No shares.

Next you can use the ECU diskettes to check your EISA config. Finally here is the tested products list you can compare and see if your NIC is listed.

The BIOS and ECU flash is locaged here: http://h20004.www2.hp.com/keeper_rnotes/bsdmatrix/matrix50453.html
