Errors on boot up

Getting errors 691, 060 and 002 when trying to boot up a legacy NetServer 4d/66 LM server. Doesn't even try to fire off the boot diskette. I'm trying to put this machine back into service if possible. Any ideas?

My legacy Netserver service manual gives the following explanations for the POST codes (I'm quoting the manual, here):

0691, 0692 - CMOS memory. A) Check the configuration. B) Examine the real time clock CMOS RAM module on the system board and the system board itself and replace the component if it is defective. C) Make sure that the software running is not corrupting CMOS memory.

060 - Keyboard lock button. Unlock the keyboard lock button.

002 - System start. A) Use a diskette that has been formatted as a system disk. B) Boot from the HP Netserver #1 diskette and check the configuration. C) If there is NO data on the hard disk drive or it is a new hard disk drive, partition the drive and reformat it.

So, I'd say that if you can get rid of the 691 error by clearing CMOS, you might get rid of the 002 error (It might not "know" the floppy in its current state). Also, pressing the keyboard lock switch (near the power switch) will probably get rid of the 060 error.

Post back here with your progress and we can take it from there.

p.s. I used to have an LM and junked it (and I've been sorry ever since - it was a good solid performer). It's not fast by today's standards, but extremely reliable.
