Failed Netraid Adapter

I've got on LC2000 server running Windows NT 4.0 with a NetRaid-1 si card, I've got 3 36 GB disks on a Raid 5 configuration... 2 days ago the Raid adpter failed there was a message in OS not found if you continue to boot on. When I execute Ctrl-M, and view the RAID setting from Configure menu, all the 3 disk failed. I assumed it's the adapter. Is this the only cause of it? If it is, can the data be restored if the adapter is replaced?

Netraid configuration is stored on the adapter and on the drives. If the adapter is replaced then the configuration can be read from the drives.

If all three drives failed there are several possibilities. The controller, the drive cage backplane or even just one drive (blocking the SCSI bus with the result that all drives are inaccessible -> failed). Even the SCSI cable could be defective.

If there only was a temporary problem it might be possible to set all drives active. But if the drives didn't fail at the same time then this will result in a inconsistent RAID. It is possible to run a consistency check but this will only recalculate RAID checksums and not guarantee data integrity.
