HP E800 Ghost slow

Hi there

A netbooted ghost image between two of my E800 servers is *crawling*. I do a lot of ghost imaging. There's definitely something wrong here. My network has given me no cause for concern recently and the NICs in the machines seem to be in good order. I'm using E100b.dos - latest ver. Any ideas?

Apologies if this has been answered b4. Is there an easy way to search a subsection of this site? (e.g. just the Netserver section). I couldn't see one.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Re: HP E800 Ghost slow

Dave,
I have actually had a very similar problem, and it might sound crazy. I couldn't figure it out for the longest time, but it ended up being a defective hard drive and cable. Once these were replaced I had no trouble getting my system back up to speed. I'm sure you probably had figured that you would never get a reply on this question, luckily your not alone. Unfortunately the drives and cabling for these systems aren't in-expensive.

If there is anything else I can help you with, please send me an email..

Re: HP E800 Ghost slow

Thanks for your reply Steve. I am about to post a second message about a disk problem which I'm getting on the same server so it may well be related.
Cheers
