HP Netserver LH3
We have HP Netserver LH3 server in which we have 6 18.2 GB harddisks filling one cage. Today we installed new cage and add 3 additional hard disks. But when we try to add the hard disks to the raid , we egt error message as Maximum Stripe number reached. We checked , the Virtual sizing is disabled. Can some one suggest how can we add the three hard disks to the exisitng logical drive without lossing any exisitng data(not back restore).
Thanks
Thanks

Re: HP Netserver LH3
Hi
I suposed that you can add one to array without problems... It??s possible that you must add one to one, taking time to rebuild.
I hope you help

Re: HP Netserver LH3
Hi,
unfortunately it's not possible. The max. number for disks per array is eight. This is factore limitation for HP NetRAID. See:

(chapter:2, item:Array)
