HP NetServer LH4 & NetRAID & Windows 2000 Server

Hi all,
I have HP NetServer LH4 with integrated NetRAID and 3 arrays installed on it.
First Array cosist of 1 HDD - 4Gb ( this is where my Windows 2000 Server and Exchange 2000 Server is )
Second Array - RAID 0 ( 2 x 9 Gb ) which is in failed state ( I want to delete this array )
Third Array - RAID 5 ( 3 x 36 Gb ) it is my data array with Exchange DB and User's files
My problems are:
1. I want to conver my Seccond array to RAID 1 or do telete it and recreate to RAID 1 ( I mean that I don't need the data which is on this array )
2. I want to move my Partition from First array to my new second Array

I want to thank in advance for every tip !!!

You can only delete the last array in the Netraid,
So you have to delete Array 3 first and then you can delete Array 2. So back up Array3 and delete.

Or Try this:
Restart the server, select CTRL + M to into NetRaid utility. Delete the Array/Fail the drives. Remove the drives, Rescan the adapter. Or Reboot. See if the array is removed.

One cannot change from Raid 0 to Raid 1. You have to delete the Raid 0 and then recreate Raid 1 array.

Let's see if I understand.
You wish to move your OS to a RAID1 is the bottomline. You will just need backup abd restore.
But you say the 2 - 9GB drive array is FAILED. This can not be good and is signs of a bad drive. You should replace them.
Fact is, you will not lose data on the drives. If they are place back in the unit in the same positions they were in to have the addressing from the controller the same, you can remove and replace the configuration as required. That is note each physical drive position, them note each drives number as denoted by the RAID configuration.
This way your RAID5 will stay intact even if you need to remake the RAID configuration to. Just when reselecting the RAID5, do it in the same order that it was prior.
