LC 2000 U3 Server error message
Ive just built a LC2000 U3, with the following 2 processors, Netraid controller, 3 disks and a DAT drive.
The Disks are using ID 0,1 and 2.
The Dat drive is set to use ID 3.
Ive toptools loaded and get the following information :-
Controller TargetID Type Driver Name Driver
0 255 IDE atapi 4.00 0
1 15 HP NetRAID mraidnt 4.05
2 7 SCSI Sym_u3 SYM_U3NT-5.05.00
3 7 SCSI Sym_u3 SYM_U3NT-5.05.00
However Im getting the following message in event log.
The driver detected a controller error on \Device\ScsiPort3.
The DAT drive is however working with the backup software. Could anybody tell me what it could be refering to.
Thanks
Mark

Re: LC 2000 U3 Server error message
I take it the DAT drive is connected to the onboard controller, and the HDD cage is connected to the netraid controller?

Re: LC 2000 U3 Server error message
Yes you are right. Dat drive on Mainboard SCSI and the disks are on the Netraid SCSI.
