lc2000 embedded scsi BIOS enable?
We have had a couple of lc2000s where the onboard scsi does not show the scsi bios on boot up, although the scsi works, there appears to be nowhere to set the scsi channels up, ie the SCSI bios control-a (or similar) doesn't appear. In fact nothing to do with scsi appears on boot. Where is the option to enable onboard scsi BIOS?

Re: lc2000 embedded scsi BIOS enable?
The LC2000 uses a symbios controller, so ctrl-c is used to enter it's setup. It weird that the SCSI controller would not post, but works in the OS. I would try and clear the CMOS config, by flipping switch 5 on the system swtiches located near the battery. To do this, you must power off the system, flip switch 5 to the ON posistion, turn the system on. At the end of post, a message will tell you to flip the swtich back. Power off the system, then flip the switch back to the OFF position. Power the system back on, you must press F2 and enter setup and do a save and exit to validate this. Clearing the CMOS config, will set the BIOs back to it's original defaults, so any settings (i.e. boot order, etc...) will need to be changed back.
