LC3 DAT72 compatibility

Hi,
a client has an LC3 running nt4 server, currently with a DAT24 tape. Can anyone tell me if the DAT 72 will be compatible with this please? The DAT72 compatible chart only lists post merger servers.

HP did not test the DAT72 on the Netserver LC3, but technically it should work. The main concern is the older SCSI (UW 40 mbps) on this server - the DAT72 should have a faster SCSI. Putting a tape drive on a SCSI controller which is too slow results in "shoeshing" and will shorten the life of the tape drive.
