LH Pro cpu upgrade availability/pricing?
I'm going to be using my LH Pro @ home... hooked to a fairly steady broadband connection.. on a 3 pc home network, which has storage requirements for recorded veido media, mp3's and artwork... I now, it's a humble use for such a big box, but I really wanna put it to use... Does anyone have a recommendation for where to go to for a cpu upgrade for this unit? I know, I can get another 200mhz 256k cache PPro off ebay, or get 2 512's or 2 1mb's... or I could get 2 333 overdrives... or even a discontinued pair of Powerleap upgrades... I guess maybe for what I'll be doing I may not need a 2nd cpu... would I if I wanted to run a game server on that machine? ... Anyone know where to go?

Re: LH Pro cpu upgrade availability/pricing?
If the broadband connection is "only" 1.5 mbps, there is probably no need for a second processor.
I would suggest connecting the LH Pro as is, and then seeing how well it does. You may want to monitor memory usage in your OS, and if all your physical memory is being used, adding more is probably the best performance boost you can get. Before you go too wild on upgrades, though, bear in mind that you can buy a new server from HP for significantly less than $1000, at it will run circles around the LH Pro.
As I final note, I see mention of video and mp3. This class of machine is fair (not great) for mp3 audio encoding, if you do that, but would be totally inadequate for any kind of video encoding.
