LH3 hardware log
Hello
I hope this isn't a duplicate message, but I'm not sure my previous message went through.
I have a NetServer LH3 with a RAID 5 set.
The server is working fine, with no visible alarms, but Toptools shows a critical alarm for all four drives in the array. Checking the status of each drive returns a 'no significant events reported against this device' message.
I cleared the hardware event log, but the condition remains.
I'm running the latest version of Toptools.
These are my questions:
- What does the alarm mean?
- Can I acknowledge any alarm without flushing the log?
- Why does the alarm remain even after clearing the log?
- Is there a way to acknowledge alarms/clear the log using only the front panel?
Your help would be much appreciated.
Denis
