Thank you Amha Kassa and Terri Harris, I appricate the information. The third power supply hadn't crossed my mind. I was wondering what would the bet raid controller when used as a pair. I know about the extra fan needed for 600 mg proccessers. When ordering the processers, does everything come as a package or do you have to get all the pieces. I have one p2/350 proccesser so what will I need to purchase to have 2 proccessers ready to snap in. How would this server do with microsoft server net edition.

Solution
Hi Ray,
1. The following netraid controllers are supported in this machine
Netriad 1M
Netriad 2M
Netriad 1Si
Netriad 3Si
the best slot for this raid controllers in LH 3 is Slot 7 or 8
2. I am not quite sure if the processor came with a hit sink
can anybody out there help to find out this?
regards
Amha Kassa

Re: lh3 server
1. The Netserver LH3/LH3r has a built-in NetRAID controller (dual channel Ultra2). So you do not need to buy a NetRAID controller.
2. If you already have one PII/350 CPU, if you keep it and want to add a 2nd CPU then you would need to buy another PII/350. If you buy the HP parts it includes everything necessary, including the VRMs needed when adding a 2nd CPU.
3. HP did not test Windows 2003/.NET on any of the HP Netservers. Can anyone else help here?

Re: lh3 server
Hi,
Yes LH3 netserver have an embedded netriad controller. I thought ray is planning to use an add on PCI netriad controller(sounds like that from the post though).
My appology
