LH3000 hangs

Hi,

My server is LH3000 and now it's hang.

After switch power on, it run until "Test RAM 02" and hang, nothing at LCD.

Is it caused by RAM or System board???

Any help???

Veron,

It sounds like a memory problem.
If you have multiple memory DIMMs in your server please remove all but one and try again.
If that doesn't help try one other DIMM.

If it works just add the DIMM's one at a time until the server fails again to power up.

You could also check the servers event log (from front panel, Navigator or Toptools) for any memory related messages after you succeeded in powering it up.
