LH4 Netraid 3si and external array
I have an LH4 with a netraid 3si connected to an external HP disk array. I continually receive the error "Configuration of NVRAM and drives mismatch", after saving the config of the disk configuration it will work for a day or 2 before all disks go back into a failed state and I have to re-save the disk config. Would this be an NVRAM issue or the battery or something else.

Re: LH4 Netraid 3si and external array
Dan,
This is not a battery issue on the netraid controller.
Is it only your external storage that is generating the NVRAM/Disk Mismatch? Do all Drives go to a failed state or are just one or two?
When you get an NVRAM/Disk Mismatch it is a sign that you are losing communication between the drives and the controller. The drives think they are online and the controller thinks they are failed or vice versa. Is the external storage on a different power source from the LH4? Try a different channel on the 3si and try a different cable between the storage and the card. Also check ALL hdd's for any errors being reported, correct capacity showing, and fw of the hdd's and post that...
