Looking for e60 parts

Where can I find a respectable & affordable dealer for replacement parts for the e60?
I need a minimum of (1) PIII 600 processor, hard drive cage & outer cover (the metal cover, not the front plastic).
I might also be interested in complete (working or not) units.
Thanks.

Re: Looking for e60 parts

I have found several reputable dealers for various brands of used computer equipment in Processor.com magazine.
You can start at http://www.processor.com

(I have absolutely no connection to that publication other than as satisfied customer.)

Have you tried www.pricewatch.com?

That's an excellent source for finding great prices on computer equipment.

Re: Looking for e60 parts

Thank you all for your information.
The main part I'm looking for now is the processor:
PIII 600mhz "Katmai" SECC2 slot 1 with 512k cache, 100mhz bus.
I've picked up a spare chassis, over the weekend, for $50.

I've checked out pricewatch.com, ebay & the hp site.
Pricewatch has offered the processor for $100+. The HP site wants as much for a processor that will fit in this unit as I can buy a complete working system.

I'd like to get a pair of the processors for under $250.

I just don't want to buy them from a unreputable company & end up with scrap instead of working parts.

Hewlett-Packard has a professional relationship with Paramount Computers at www.pmount.com. I would suggest checking with Paramount on their return policies...
