lost password bios
We have removed the battery of the cmos but without any risult
a way of reset the bios exists???

You need to put jumper on the motherboard,
For that you may pl. refer to your Server or PC motherboard documents...

See also... following link.. if the model no. is not matching then you can surf Internet to search on hp for clearing CMOS.

If you still did not get it work do this (This steps is specifically for the LH 3 Netserver I am not sure about the Vectra. May be you have to look at the technical reference)
1. Open the server and locate the configuration switch on the mainboard which will be found close to the CMOS Battery
2. Flip Switch# 6 from OFF to ON and power up the server
3. After u got the password clear message, power down server and flip switch# 6 back from ON to OFF
4. Power up the server
This should take care of it
