LP 1000R
Hello, hope somebody can help me, thanks in advance.
I work on server lp1000r under Redhat6.2
Firts, when I disconnect the power cable, reconnect it and restart, I get error message "PXE Check media failed" and boot stop here ; then need to go into advanced setup to clear parameters.
Secundo, after startting the server, bringing up network cards (3 network cards) take a very long time (5 to 10 mn) ; after starting, when ping one of the cards, I get answering after few minuts !
Thanks in advance
Paul

Re: LP 1000R
You might have the LP2000r if you have 3 network cards. The LP1000r only has 1 pci slot whereas the LP2000r has 3 pci slots. Have you tried booting the server without the pci cards in it? Do you still get the error without the NICS installed and is the boot time still 5-10 minutes? Also what NICS are in this server?
Lets Roll!

Re: LP 1000R
Thanks Greg for your reply.
The lp1000r I get has 2 network cards build on mother board.
On the only pci slot, it is an Intel Pro 100.
No I didn't try without the add-on card, I'm going to do it.
I will let you know the resilts.
Encore merci.
