lp1000r setup
Hi
I need to load NT4 onto our lp1000r as part of a systems recovery process.
Netserver Navigator CD returns "Error12: The system is not supported by this cd-rom", yet lp1000r is marked on the disc.
Alternatively, I tried using the NT server CD, but none of the storage controller drivers I load (see link below) during setup will allow the setup app to see a disk.
Disk is 1 x 36.4Gb, server is 1.13 Ghz
Any ideas?
Thanks
Hayden

Re: lp1000r setup
I would continue to try and load directly from the NT CD. Did you verify how the drive is attached. THat is, the controller that it is attached to? What happens on the screen at post? Do you see the on board SCSI BIOS load in? Does it discover any devices? Do you see any other SCSI BIOS load? Like a RAID COntroller? If so open the RAID set up with the key strokes asked for during POST. See if the drive shows up there, it may need to be configured.
If none of the above, either the drive is not connected, the drive has failed or the controller is failed.
