LP2000R PCI Version?

What version of the PCI Specification does the HP Netserver LP2000R support?

We have a number of these machines that we'd like to gut out the SCSI backplanes and replace with SATA drives, but need to ensure that the new drive controllers will work.

Well it is not PCI-X but are not most cards backward compatible?
The Spec.s say "Three 32/64-bit, 33 MHz speed, 5 volt PCI slots on riser board
within PCI card cage."

I'm not a hardware guru, so I can't say that new PCI cards (in this case cards that are certified PCI version 2.3) would be backward compatible.

We're trying to let the card mfg know what version the LP2000R systems are so that they can advise us.

PCI spec: 2.2 PEER (2 BUSES) PCI bus structure
