Lxr Pro - NetIQ problems
Hi all,
Recently, our LXr Pro netservers which run our Metaframe farm have been failing at reboot. POST error 198 (believed to be CMOS checksum error) and on reboot post 0240. At post 0240 boot, it advises to something along the lines of press ESC to boot or run ECU (EISA Config Utility).
We have a feeling that Net IQ App Manager is messing around with the CMOS. Has anyone else experienced anything similar, and if so, what was the root cause?
Thanks,
Andy

Re: Lxr Pro - NetIQ problems
I would start with updating the BIOS and then booting to the latest ECU and doing a save and exit. You can find these files here:

Re: Lxr Pro - NetIQ problems
Andy,
All of these servers are getting quite old.. have you replaced the batteries on the system boards as well? They are definately at a point where the original batteries would be on their way out.
Ciao,
Greg
