netraid 1si and W2k
Hallo !
I have allready installed a new netraid 1si raid-controller in my computer.I have flashed the newest bios and firmware. But my problem is I can't use the raid because my computer will hang up by read or write on the disks. It is not an hp-netserver its a normal pc with a asus k7m board and 2 ibm drvs18v for a level 0 raid. I insttalled the newest hp-driver and configure the arrey with the hp netraid assitant, can format it and all will be fine, but if I want to read or write the system hangs up.Also I tryed to intall a new W2k on the arrey an its hangs up while the installation. The disks are ok i had never problems with them and i have checked them with the dft-tool too.I hope someone is answering me, because I can't find anything at the support. Please excuse my bad english.
David

Re: netraid 1si and W2k
probably your bios not support this card
That is an unsupported config, NetRAID card is only certified in HP Netservers.....
I'm sorry
