NetRAID Alarmed
Hi! I've already tried to use the M utility to discover what's going on with my NetRAID but when the server boots, it says that there is no NetRAID adapter and when tries to recognize the adapter it takes about 2 minutes and the NetRAID is still alarmed. So I can't enter into the utility. Please help me

Re: NetRAID Alarmed
Can you see the NetRaid controller in the POST?
Are you using the HP Netraid assistant in windows on this server?
All of my Netservers have one or more HP NetRaid controllers and are booting from these controllers.
Sometimes the server refuse to boot because the servers can't find any bootdisk and the NetRaid controllers have disappeared from the POST.
If I want my netserver to rediscover the Netraid controller or other PCI-devices who have disappeared from the POST I have to press F11 to access the setup (not F2 as I usually press to access the setup), and choose "exit" and "clear system configuration and exit setup", but remember your are clearing the system configuration (bootorder and other important settings in setup, but not in the NetRaid setup). It is safe to me to clear the configuration because all my servers have the default settings in the setup.

Re: NetRAID Alarmed
Just be aware if you are using an onboard integrated NetRAID and you clear the configuration, that you must go in durring the subsequent post and reset the SCSI channels to use imbedded NetRAID instead of the normal SYM SCSI controllers. I think this is most prevallent on LH3/4 and LT6000 (not sure about LH3000).
