NetRaid Controller and NetServer Storage System/6

I have a NetRaid Controller and NetServer Storage System/6 and have a couple questions:

1.) Can these be installed and configured on a non-HP machine?

2.) What is the largest drive the System/6 can take?

Ok, I have 5 IBM 18.2 GB drives installed in the machine, and the NetRaid installed in a system. They are connected with the correct cable, but the NetRaid does not detect and of the drives. Any suggestions?

Which netraid controller? Try one HDD at a time to see if one of the HDD isn't causing a problem. Try another channel on the netraid controller if there is one. Is the firmware up to date on the controller?

Jeff,

SS6 is a fast and wide SCSI2 enclosure, slow down the SCSI speed on your controller and you will found the disks (I hope)
