Netserver and HASS disk pack

I've connected up my Netserver lp1000r via the fast-wide differential SCSI
port to an external HP HASS storage enclosure diskpack (model A3312A). But
when I boot the Netserver up it doesn't "see" any of the external disks.

I've checked the cables and adjusted a few dip switches, but all to no
avail.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Re: Netserver and HASS disk pack

What OS are you using?

On the hass rack, do you have terminators?

Do you have a SCSI jumper cable from one side to another (each side of a HASS rack is independent of the other)? If so, then EACH disk must have a different SCSI ID. Also, on each side, each disk must have it's own SCSI ID.

If all of that is set, then the nexxt bet is that you need a scsi driver of some kind. What size disks do you have?

Hi Niel,

There may be a compatibility issue. Check this for a complete information about the diskarray. It may help you:
