Netserver E45 - Resource Conflict Code 15

Need Help - CD Rom not recognized and have a resource conflict (code15) (Intel 82371 SB PCI But Master IDE controller). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest you to perform a clear Cmos, usualy this could solve conflict issues

Hi Marino, Thank you for responsive reply. I tried your suggestion (clear CMOS). That process fixed part of my problem. In addition to the CD-ROM not being recognized due to the Resource Conflict Code 15, I also had a conflict with the communication port, which was corrected by clearing the cmos. I still have the problem with the CD-ROM not being recoginzed and the resource conflict. Is it possible that this server does not support Win98 SE?? Any suggestions for a work around would be appreciated. Thank You, Lou

You can try switching the cd from the 2nd controller to the primary and set it as a slave. At least it would recognize the cd. The same thing happened to me with win98 & a Netserver E40.
