netserver e60 and ide

Is it possible to connect an IDE drive with capacity more than 8Gb into an e60 netserver?
I tried to insert 20Gb disk but BIOS setup couldn't recognize it.

Are you using the latest BIOS on the system? Some revs of BIOS were made before larger discs were made, so a BIOS upgrade is needed to recognize these HDD. Also, HP doesn't support IDE HDD in anything but the E30.
