Netserver LH3
I am continally getting on start up a new hardware found wizard looking for drivers for a PCI memory controller.
I cannot find any drivers that seem to fit the bill, does anyone have any idea what it is looking for?

Re: Netserver LH3
Hello Rob,
try to load this dummy inf file that you can find on the web in the Netraid driver package for LH3 or on the Navigator cdrom. It is in fact the embedded Netraid controller that is seen as a extra PCI device and to properly give it a placeholder in device manager, their is a .inf file available that loads a dummy driver.
Their is no H/W problem at all but the new device wizard pop up is enoying.
On the Navigator CD it is located in :
\periph\netraid\w2k\ultra2\nodev8ld.inf
and i also attached it to this reply

Re: Netserver LH3
Hi Rob,
This event occurs when the embedded HP NetRAID is disabled in the Netserver BIOS.
Therefore, if you do not have any other reason to disable the embeded raid controller, Enable embedded NetRAID in BIOS setup by pressing F2 in POST. This removes the "PCI memory controller" device in Device Manager.
I hope this will help
Regards

Re: Netserver LH3
Hi Amha,
Does this issue also work with ML370s? I am seeing the same PCI Memory Controller device in my device manager.
Warm Regards,
Raven
