netserver LH4 hans uip after post before boot
the system goes to blank screen with flashing cursor at top left corner.
No activity even if the boot device is selected as floppy or the CD.
POST completes with not problems.
Any suggestions?

Re: netserver LH4 hans uip after post before boot
Hi Erthan,
Try this
1. Open the server and look for a configuration switch (Dip switch) on the systemboard
2. Flip Switch #5 to the opposit direction (basically to the On position)
3. Boot the server up and you should be able to get a message that tells you to put Switch #5 back to the Off position and boot the server--then do so
4. When server boots up press F2 and Press F10 to save the BIOS settings (However, if you had any custom BIOS settings make sure to set back to you Custom settings before you press F10)
5. Reboot the server up and see if it is going to come up with the OS
If not lets know
I hope this helps
Amha Kassa
Regards

Thanks, had already tried this and it worked prior to your response. However your response is appreciated and I have given you the point for responding.
Keep up the good work..

The problem was resolved by resetting the bios.
