Netserver
Hi, I was able to get another disk from school. I am using both A and B SCSI onboard controllers, I have the CD-Rom hooked on (A) and the six 4GIG drives hooked on (B). The floppy I got is a diagnostic disk and all tests checked out OK. I dont know. I can use format C: to format, but when I put a windows cdrom in it will not boot from it nor can I enter SETUP to install the OS, the OS is Win98. Any thoughts are much appreciated. Thanks

Re: Netserver
Hi,
I do not know which server model you are using, but if your CD cannot boot, just copy the win98 directory of the installCD on one temp directory of your HD and then run setup from this directory itself.
Other option is to use the floppy startup for installation.
Anyway you have to know that Win98 is not supported on Netservers.

Re: Netserver
Check in BIOS to make sure you can set Boot From CD. If not you will need a DOS SCSI drive installed before the setup starts to get the OS to recognize the SCSI controller and drives attached. THen make a set of Install Disk and install from floppy
