Pent Pro 200 LH Pro Netserver
I've got a '96 Netserver that has 4 512kb 200 cpu's and have a set of 4 1mb 200's with matched stepping I'd like to install. There seems to be 2 different styles of cpu boards for these systems as the extra cpu board I received with the set of cpu's I purchased has a jumper for the cpu cache. Neither board that are in the system board currently have this jumper and when I tried the 1 mb cpu's, the system gave an unsupported cpu error. I'm wondering if I can get past this if I install the newer, jumper style boards that seem to support the 1mb versions since "1mb" is an optional setting. Did I word that question understandably?!! If so, ...HELP!!! Thanks!

Re: Pent Pro 200 LH Pro Netserver
if you install 4x 1mb procs, then it should work. don't mix 512kb cpu with 1mb, even on 2 different boards.
good luck
