Problem in E-800/SCO5.0.5
we have sco 5.0.5 Enterprise on E-800/with Adptec 2100S Raid Controller/Iwill (Advansys chipset) 2936UW-e controoler fr tape/spooler and Specilaix IO8+ (pci) - two cards for 16 port.
we are getting the following message
istat=02: LSS_PAR sist0=01 sist1=00 !!!
and the system hangs. this mesagge appears randomly i.e after 2 hours of working or in the evening time
we are getting this message when HDD were on interlan Smybiosis controllers
what is the
a)solution
b) cause of this problem

Try going to the SCO site and getting TA#110511; it refers to SCODoctor and Symbios SCSI driver incompatibility problems. We had the message on our LH3 and I have not gotten anyone at SCO or HP to elaborate beyond SCO's solution: "disable Doctor"!! or replaceAdapters/drivers. If you get more info or answers let me know. Thanks

Amit, due to the Caldera aquisition of SCO, you may have trouble accessing the site and info I mentioned; here is an attachment of the old SCO Technical Article #110511. Please let me know if anything comes of this. Pen
