Problem with NetServer LH2
Hi ,
There is a serious problem in the netserver given below :
Hp Net Server LH 2
Model No : D5017-60200
Problem Description :
Once it powered on no display is comming to the screen. After replacing a VGA adapter the problem remains.
Then I replaced the motherboard(with old flash bios rom) and the power supply but the problem still remains.
** I could not replace a new Flash bios because the replacement system board received with out the Flash bios.
Even when I remove the memories I cannot hear any beep sound.
When switched on After some time when I physically touch the processor I can feel that it doesn't get heated.
So I changed the processor also but the problem still remains.
Is the problem lays in
1) Flash Bios ?
2) VRM Module ?
Or something else ? Pls Help me to solve this problem.
Thank You ,
Kokila.

Re: Problem with NetServer LH2
It could be anything plugged into the main system board. If they are not seated correctly, then the system will not boot. Take the system down to a minimum, 1 proc, 1 vrm, 1 memory. no pci cards. If it doesn't sound like it is booting with no video, then it isn't booting. Systems will still boot if the video does not display, due to a bad video adapter.
