Problems at boot time
How can i boot my w2k cd-rom at my hp netserver lh3? I tried to simply put the cd at the drive, and reboot the machine, but it did not work.
When i put a linux boot cdrom, it did WORK!
What is the problem with my lh3?
PS: The cd's are ok, i used on another machines, with old cd-rom drives.

Re: Problems at boot time
Hi,
Use the configuration assistant CD provided by hp to boot the unit and then use the OS installation CD when requested by the unit.
Regards,
CPP

Re: Problems at boot time
That could be an incompatibiliy between the cd rom and the cd media. Try temporarily replacing your cd-rom with the old one that reads the media.
