Problems with Netraid 2M and LP2000R netserver
A few days ago the Exchange was responding very slow and the problem is getting bigger and bigger. We have to restart the server to work with it.
Following errors occur in the system event log:
04.03.2003 08:07:32 mraid2k Error None 9 N/A S5LKR04 The device, \Device\Scsi\mraid2k1, did not respond within the timeout period.
04.03.2003 09:11:03 Schannel Error None 36871 N/A S5LKR04 A fatal error occurred while creating an SSL server credential.
Is the NETRAID dying or so !?
Or is it a know issue to the Netraid 2M

Re: Problems with Netraid 2M and LP2000R netserver
This is not a known issue with a NetRaid 2m. It could however be related to the BIOS as I've seen the LP2000 lose its setting for the embedded SCSI controller and when that happened it took the netraid with it. Flashing the BIOS, clearing the CMOS and then booting into F2, hitting F9 and F10 brought it all back.
Flash the bios to the current rev or reflash if you are already current. Then clear the CMOS and then in F2 hit F9 and F10.
Grab the bios here. Note there are two different bios revs. One for servers 1Ghz and under and the other for 1.13Ghz and over.

Re: Problems with Netraid 2M and LP2000R netserver
In the morning we have to restart the server and it is working fine until 1 or 2 am and then it is the same again.
Before this time there is every thing ok, afterwards it is malfunctioning.
Any further ideas ?

Re: Problems with Netraid 2M and LP2000R netserver
I??ve think one of the hdd isn??t working correktly and making timeouts! You can qualify that while solving the scsi cable to embedded SCSI controller. Check the hdd id??s of your system on boot up. (don??t boot os!) Replace the id who??s missing and make a rebuild. Backup your data before you do that!
