Proliant 3000
Hi, I've got an old dual PII 300 Proliant 3000. I was just wondering what was the maximum spec I could upgrade it to?
I've got a newer proliant 3000 dual PIII 500 which doesn't have a ram board or as many ram slots and has the processors and heat sink plug directly into the motherboard. I don't want to get my older one confused with that model of 3000!
If anyone knows and could let me know I'd appreciate it.
p.S. This thread has been moved from General to ProLiant Servers - Netservers.- Hp Forum Moderator

Re: Proliant 3000
You might find this helpful

Hopefully you can find some memory for it.
Wouldn't bother upgrading the cpu's unless someone is giving them away.

Re: Proliant 3000
I think it is expensive. Better add more memory to second (PIII) pl3000 or buy new server.
