Re: rack storage /12 giving problems with netraid 3si controller when power down
Ahmed,
What type of harddisks are in the server? (size, speed, scsi mode or HP productnumber)
What's the firmware of these harddisks?
PLease let me know, there are some known issues with harddisk firmware.
Marco

hi marco,
HD hp BN. D7140 IS USED
I FOUND THIS PRODUCT REPACED FROM HP
Ultra 3 SCSI drives work much better when connected with twisted pair cables. All products and accessory cables attached to SCSI drives are being rolled to twisted pair cables. Replace flat ribbon cables 5183-6527 and 5183-6528 with flat twisted pair cables 5185-2457 and 5185-2458, respectively: On: D4282B SCSI Cable Kit D6995AV Netserver LH 3 3si DAC Kit (SEP Models) D9158A Hot Swap Drive Cage D9158AV Hot Swap Drive Cage(SEP Models) Delete: 5183-6528 Qty. 1 Add: 5185-2458 Qty. 1 On: D4282B SCSI Cable Kit D6990AV 3Si DAC W/No SF2 Cable Kit (SEP) D6995AV Netserver LH 3 3si DAC Kit (SEP) D8280-63000 Repl-Duplex Assy D8280A HP Netserver Duplex Kit D8280AV HP Netserver Duplex Kit (SEP) D9341AV NetRAID-4M, Manual (SEP) Delete: 5183-6527 Qty. 1 Add: 5185-2457 Qty. 1

Re: rack storage /12 giving problems with netraid 3si controller when power down
Ahmed,
The partnumer for a twisted pair cable kit for RS12 is D6025-63007.
The D7140 is not a harddiske product number, but a netserver E60.
Are there any disks with FW HP03? If so, please upgrade them to HP04.
