RS12 logical drive missing
I have netraid 4M controller in LC2000 server but suddenly the 2disks in my rs12 fails (configured raid5). Is there a way i can recover the data. Using FAST only controller view is appearing,no logical and disk view.

Re: RS12 logical drive missing
Could be a sesnse problem with the contoller.
First try removing the disks, one at a time, waiting someminutes and then replacing the disk to see if it will come back online.

Re: RS12 logical drive missing
Hi There,
There is an option to force a RAID-5 back online on a NetRAID-4M controller. You need to go into the Container Configuration Utility (CCU) by pressingA on POST when it prompts you to. Choose the option to Manage Containers and accept the configuration change prompt if it gives you one. Highlight your RAID-5 container and press R to restore the RAID-5. If one of the drives was already failed when the second one went out, you'll need to pull the first drive that failed in order to remove it from the container. If you leave it online and it isn't consistent with the rest of the container, it could irrepairably corrupt the data. If both drives failed at the same time, you should be okay to force them online and restart the server.
Another thing you can try is using the disk utilities option in the CCU to verify each of the drives. Probably be safest to do that first but it could take a while.
Let us know how it goes,
