ScsiSMART Error
I have seen the fix for the 'Device failed: host adapter 0, Target ID 0 and LUN 0' issue which is now happening on nearly all my servers after recent patching.
Unfortunately manually uninstalling the agents and reinstalling on several hundred servers options is not really an option.
Is there 'hack' to achieve the same thing e.g deleting a service, reg change etc ?
Many Thanks

Re: ScsiSMART Error
Not a tested HP solution but you can try this:
- net stop SNMP (on the command line)
- rename or delete the file called symdb.db
(toptools device database)
- net start SNMP
This is from another ITRC Netserve thread:

Re: ScsiSMART Error
Mark,
What patches did you install that caused this error? Can you verify the modified date of the mraid.sys driver and post that here?
Also if you are getting sense key errors in the netraid log, post those as well.. Possibly the issue is a result of a SP over-writing the HP netraid driver with a MS driver which could be causing your communication errors.
Ciao,
Greg
