SNMP server MRTG
Hi,
got a problem
I m trying to monitor the same System (HP Netserver 10/100 TX PCP LAN ADAPTER) using mrtg, from two different computers (to be sure that the result I obtain on both computers is reliable)...
but depending on the computer which monitors the server, the results are different
They monitor the server at the same time, however one computer give me 30 MB/s as maximum value and the other computer give me 6.5 MB/S.
the OS on the computer I monitor is W2k
Have you ever met that kind of problem ?
regards

Re: SNMP server MRTG
Hi,
This could simply be a timing issue of when
the sampling is done from each MRTG.
Do the graphs produced from each MRTG look
basically the same for this device? If so,
then you're probably OK. If they are nothing
like each other then you have a problem.
HTH ...Laurie :{)
