Swap SCSI disk between E60 & E80?

We have two servers E60 & E80. Both have internal SCSI disk, different size but both running same OS. Can we swap the disks and how?

We have two servers. One is E60 and another one is E800. The servers work fine currently. Both servers have one single SCSI disk. What we want is exchange the SCSI disks. It can be done or not? And how?

Hi there here is the manual on how to take apart your E60 and the E800 is virtually the same. I would take your drive out from the E60 using this guide and put it in the E800 and boot it up.

Sorry that I didn't make the case clearly. We already tried to exchange the disks. However, the system is keeping reboot itself just after the screen shows: Press the Pause key to pause or any other key to continue...

I know its a silly question, but have you got more than 1 drive in the E800 with the same scsi ID?

No. There were two hard disks in E800 but only one disk in E60. That is only one disk in E800 after the exchange.

What is the OS? Sounds to me like a drive problem/incompatibility. Microsoft has a utility to perpare for such a move, forcing itself to rescan on reboot.
