Connection multiple NAS
I am doing research on NAS and Disaster Recovery. I am looking for information on connecting NAS devices together, and how failover might work. I don't see any documentation on this site in regards to connecting more than one NAS device together.
Thank you
Thank you

Re: Connection multiple NAS
Hi,
It depends on the NAS-servers you use, for example with HP CIFS/9000 it is possible to configure a "HA CIFS/9000" active/standby or active/active based on MC ServiceGuard.

Re: Connection multiple NAS
We are still deciding, but it looks like the NAS 2000.

Re: Connection multiple NAS
Hi,
If you are searching for a HA solution it is perhaps better to look at the NAS b3000, it is available with clustering options:
"
StorageWorks NAS Cluster Kit
NOTE: NAS b3000 customers who desire to have high availability clusters are required to purchase this cluster kit (PN 331474-B21).
NOTE: Option Kit includes heartbeat cable "
