Net Send Active Window

Why does a Net Send message come up on the receiver's PC as the active window? If they are typing along and hit the Enter key, the message disappears without being able to view it. Is there a switch to put on the command so that it will not be active window?

as far as I now not :-(
And I have not heard about any registry key useful for it...

There is no way to change this, it's just one of those annoying things i'm afraid.
