Teaming Question

We have recently setup two new DL785 servers. Each have two quad port gigabit NICs (NC64T). We have two port on each one combined in a team using 802.3ad Dynamic with Fault Tolerance, total of 4 ports used. The speed/Duplex should show 4000/Full but it is only showing 3000/Full. When pulling up the Team Utilization is see RX 4Gbps but and TX 3Gbps. Each of the 4 NICs show RX and TX of 1Gbps though. All are getting numbers for both RX and TX for Throughput.

We have a similar setup with two DL585's using dual port gigabit NICs with three ports in use. It displays correctly, 3000/Full.

Each port also shows a connected status and no problems with the team. Is there some kind of limitation on transmitting when using the 802.3ad team type or is there something wrong with the way the port group is configured on the switch, which is a Cisco 6513?

Can you attach switch configuration and specify which NIC port is connected to which switch port. Also attach the Hpnetsvy, from command propmt, hpnetsvy >filename.txt

The problem seems to have been at the switch level. After dissolving the team and recrating it using different ports the problem was worse, 2Gbps TX with 4Gbps RX. Our network engineer took down the port group and then brought it back up and it came back 4Gbps each. Did the same thing for the other port group and it came up 4Gbps for each as well.

I did disable the Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface. But I don't think that was the issue.

It might be due the channel group configuration, best way will be Channel group mode ACTIVE, and then force the team mode to 802.3ad
